The LENOX 1792987 is a welded bi-metal bandsaw blade engineered for demanding metal-cutting applications in fabrication shops and industrial environments. Measuring 150 inches (12 feet 6 inches) long and 1-1/4 inches wide at 0.042 inches thick, this blade runs a variable 3 to 4 TPI pitch pattern that reduces harmonic vibration and improves cut quality across varying cross-sections. The M42 high speed steel tooth tips are bonded to a spring steel back, giving the blade both edge durability and body flexibility. The Vari-Raker tooth set helps clear chips efficiently, extending blade life on tough materials.
This blade is designed for stationary horizontal and vertical bandsaw machines used in structural steel fabrication, machine shops, tool and die operations, and general metal service centers. Its variable pitch and positive rake angle make it suitable for cutting a wide range of materials including alloy steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, tool steel, mold steel, bearing steel, structural steel, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metals. It is a single welded loop blade sold individually and is part of the LENOX Classic Pro series.
Designed for use on stationary bandsaw machines that accept a 150-inch (12 feet 6 inches) blade loop with a 1-1/4 inch blade width. Verify blade length, width, and tooth pitch requirements against your saw manufacturer specifications before installation.
Blade installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with bandsaw equipment. Power down and lock out the machine before removing the existing blade or mounting a new one. Wear cut-resistant gloves when handling the coiled or uncoiled blade. Set blade tension and tracking according to the saw manufacturer guidelines before test-running the machine.
