The LENOX 1792727 is a welded bi-metal bandsaw blade engineered for continuous cutting of metal and structural materials in industrial and fabrication environments. Measuring 12 feet in length and 1 inch wide with a 0.035-inch thickness, this blade features a variable 5 to 8 TPI pitch pattern that reduces vibration and improves chip clearance across a range of material thicknesses. The M42 high-speed steel tooth tip bonded to a spring steel back delivers heat and wear resistance on demanding cuts. Licensed HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical contractors as well as metal fabricators will find this blade suited for production bandsaws cutting structural, alloy, and stainless steel stock.
This blade is intended for use on horizontal and vertical metal-cutting bandsaw machines accepting a 12-foot welded blade. The variable pitch Vari-Raker tooth set makes it effective on alloy steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, tool steel, mold steel, bearing steel, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metals. The Classic Pro series targets shops and trade contractors that cut varied cross-sections in a single production run without changing blades. It is not designed for contour cutting applications.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit welded bandsaw blade for metal-cutting bandsaws requiring a 12-foot blade loop with a 1-inch blade width.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with bandsaw blade tensioning and tracking procedures. Power down and lock out the bandsaw before removing the worn blade or installing a new one. Wear cut-resistant gloves when handling the coiled blade, as tooth edges are sharp. Verify wheel diameter and blade guide clearance match the 1-inch width and 0.035-inch thickness before tensioning.
