The LENOX 1792725 is a welded bi-metal bandsaw blade engineered for demanding metal-cutting applications in industrial and trade shop environments. The blade measures 11 feet 6 inches in length and 1 inch in width, with a 0.035-inch body thickness and a 0.055-inch kerf width. The variable 5 to 8 TPI pitch pattern reduces harmonic vibration and produces cleaner cuts across a wide range of metal cross-sections. The M42 high speed steel tooth tips are electron-beam welded to a spring steel back, giving the blade flexibility under continuous feed while maintaining edge hardness. Part of the LENOX Classic Pro series, this blade is suited for professional metal fabricators, maintenance machinists, and trade shops running production bandsaw work.
This blade is designed for horizontal and vertical metal-cutting bandsaws accepting an 11-foot 6-inch loop. The variable pitch and Vari-Raker tooth set make it effective on a broad range of workpiece materials including alloy steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, tool steel, mold steel, bearing steel, structural steel, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metals. The positive rake angle and toothed milled edge geometry improve chip evacuation and reduce feed force, making this blade appropriate for both solid bar stock and structural profiles. It is sold as a single welded loop, ready to mount without additional joining.
Designed to fit metal-cutting bandsaws that accept an 11-foot 6-inch welded loop blade measuring 1 inch wide and 0.035 inches thick. Verify your saw manufacturers required blade length, width, and thickness specifications before installation.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or maintenance technician familiar with bandsaw blade changes. Power down and lock out the saw at the disconnect before removing the old blade or mounting the new one. Confirm blade tension and wheel tracking per the saw manufacturer's guidelines before resuming cuts. Eye protection and cut-resistant gloves are standard PPE when handling bandsaw blades.
