Measuring 17 feet 9 inches in length and 1.5 inches wide with a 0.05-inch blade thickness, it runs on horizontal and vertical metal-cutting bandsaws. The blade features a variable 4 to 6 TPI tooth pattern with a Vari-Raker tooth set and positive rake angle, characteristics that improve chip evacuation and reduce heat buildup when cutting a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The M42-plus high-speed steel tooth tips bonded to a spring steel back give this blade its durability under continuous production cutting.
This blade is suited for production and job-shop metal cutting where material variety is common. It handles alloy steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, tool steel, mold steel, bearing steel, aluminum, other non-ferrous metals, and titanium.
