The LENOX 1772334 is a welded bi-metal bandsaw blade built for metal-cutting applications in industrial and fabrication environments. Measuring 12 feet 6 inches in length, 1 inch wide, and 0.035 inches thick, it runs on horizontal and vertical band saws commonly found in machine shops and fabrication facilities. The blade features a variable 5 to 8 TPI pitch with a Vari-Raker tooth set, which reduces harmonic vibration and heat buildup during cutting. The M42+ high-speed steel tooth material provides extended edge life when cutting tough ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Installation and blade changes are performed by experienced machinists or maintenance technicians familiar with bandsaw equipment.
This blade is suited for production cutting of a wide range of materials including alloy steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, tool steel, mold steel, bearing steel, aluminum, other non-ferrous metals, and titanium. The QXP series designation indicates it is engineered for demanding cutting cycles where blade longevity and cut quality are priorities. It is appropriate for both production shops running continuous cutting operations and maintenance environments handling varied material profiles. Contour cutting is not an application for this blade.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-fit welded bandsaw blade for horizontal and vertical metal-cutting band saws accepting a 12 foot 6 inch blade loop, 1 inch wide, with 0.035 inch thickness.
Blade installation and tensioning should be performed by a qualified machinist or maintenance technician following the band saw manufacturer's guidelines. Disconnect and lock out all power to the machine before removing the old blade or installing the new one. Verify wheel size, blade guide spacing, and tension settings are appropriate for a 1-inch-wide blade before operation. Eye protection and cut-resistant gloves are standard PPE when handling bandsaw blades.
