The LENOX 1772330 is a welded bi-metal bandsaw blade designed for continuous-duty cutting on horizontal and vertical bandsaws in metalworking shops, fabrication facilities, and maintenance environments. The blade measures 140 inches in overall length and 1 inch in width, with a 0.035-inch blade thickness and a kerf width of 0.058 inches. The variable-pitch tooth geometry at 4 to 6 TPI reduces vibration and harmonics during the cut, which extends blade life and produces a cleaner finish on a wide range of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. It is installed by machinists, fabricators, and industrial maintenance technicians.
This blade is suited for production and job-shop cutting of structural shapes, solid bar stock, tubes, and profiles. The M42-grade high speed steel tooth tips bonded to a spring steel back make it effective across a range of material hardnesses. Rated material applications include alloy steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, tool steel, mold steel, bearing steel, aluminum, non-ferrous metals, and titanium. The Vari-Raker tooth set and positive rake angle promote efficient chip evacuation and reduced cut time on difficult materials. It is a strong fit for shops cutting a variety of material types without frequent blade changes.
Designed as a direct-fit welded bandsaw blade replacement for bandsaws accepting a 140-inch blade loop, 1 inch wide and 0.035 inches thick. Verify blade length, width, and thickness specifications against your bandsaw manufacturer requirements before installation.
Bandsaw blade installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with the specific machine model. Disconnect and lock out power to the saw before removing the existing blade or installing a new one. Wear cut-resistant gloves when handling the coiled blade, and follow the saw manufacturer guidelines for blade tension and tracking adjustment. Inspect blade guides and blade wheels for wear before installing a new blade.
