The LENOX 1772326 is a welded bi-metal bandsaw blade engineered for demanding metal-cutting applications in professional shop and fabrication environments. The blade measures 11 feet 1 inch in length and 1 inch in width, with a 0.035-inch body thickness and a variable pitch of 2 to 3 TPI. The tooth material is M42+ high speed steel, offering elevated heat and wear resistance compared to standard HSS. A ground, variable cutting edge and positive rake angle combine to deliver consistent chip removal across a wide range of workpiece materials. Licensed welders, machinists, and metal fabricators are the primary installers and users of this blade.
This blade is suited for contour-free, straight-cut operations on a broad range of metals including alloy steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, tool steel, mold steel, bearing steel, aluminum, non-ferrous metals, and titanium. The variable pitch and single-level tooth set make it adaptable to varying cross-sections and material densities encountered in production cutting environments. It is intended for use on bandsaw machines that accept an 11-foot 1-inch continuous welded loop blade with a 1-inch width capacity.
Designed for use on horizontal and vertical bandsaws configured to accept an 11-foot 1-inch welded loop blade that is 1 inch wide. Suitable for cutting alloy steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, tool steel, mold steel, bearing steel, aluminum, non-ferrous metals, and titanium.
Blade installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or maintenance technician with the bandsaw powered down and the drive unplugged or locked out per applicable OSHA lockout/tagout procedures. Verify that the blade guides, wheel spacing, and blade tension are set to the machine manufacturer's specifications for a 1-inch-wide blade before operating. Wear cut-resistant gloves when handling any bandsaw blade. Inspect the blade for weld integrity and tooth condition prior to each use.
