The LENOX 1766219 is a welded bi-metal bandsaw blade engineered for demanding metal-cutting applications in industrial and fabrication environments. At 15 feet 6 inches in length and 1 inch wide with a 0.035-inch thickness, this blade fits standard vertical bandsaws used in metal shops and mechanical contracting. The blade runs a variable 4 to 6 TPI pitch pattern, reducing harmonics and vibration during cuts. The M42-plus high speed steel tooth material delivers heat resistance and edge retention when cutting tough alloys, stainless, and titanium. Fabricators, maintenance machinists, and tool room technicians are the primary installers of this blade.
This blade is suited for straight and contour-free cuts on a wide range of metals, including alloy steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, tool steel, mold steel, bearing steel, aluminum, non-ferrous metals, and titanium. The QXP series variable-pitch design and Vari-Raker tooth set make it a practical choice for production metal cutting where material types change frequently. It is sold individually and is compatible with bandsaws that accept a 15-foot 6-inch welded loop blade in 1-inch width.
Designed to fit vertical bandsaw machines that accept a welded loop blade measuring 15 feet 6 inches in length, 1 inch in width, and 0.035 inches in thickness.
Bandsaw blade replacement should be performed by a qualified technician with the machine fully powered down and locked out per OSHA lockout/tagout procedures. Confirm wheel diameter, blade guide clearance, and blade width capacity on the bandsaw before installing. Tension the blade according to the bandsaw manufacturer's specification for 1-inch bi-metal blades and allow a brief break-in period at reduced feed rate on initial cuts. Wear cut-resistant gloves when handling coiled or uncoiled bandsaw blades.
