The LENOX 1354D2C12127 is a bi-metal band saw blade supplied in coil stock form, intended for professionals who cut and weld blades to custom lengths on-site or in a shop setting. The blade measures 0.5 inches wide and 0.035 inches thick, with a constant 4 teeth-per-inch (TPI) hook-tooth profile. The cutting teeth are high-speed steel (HSS), welded to a flexible alloy steel back, giving the blade durability through interrupted cuts and contour work. This format is standard stock for fabrication shops, mechanical contractors, and service technicians who maintain a blade welder and need coil inventory on hand.
This coil stock is suited for contour cutting applications in metal fabrication and trade service environments. The hook tooth form and 4 TPI pitch handle medium to thick cross-sections of ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The flexible back reduces blade fatigue during radius cuts. At 100 feet per coil, it yields multiple finished blades depending on machine wheel diameter and cut length. The Lenox tooth set promotes straight tracking and chip clearance during the cut cycle.
Designed as coil stock for vertical band saw machines that accept 0.5-inch wide, 0.035-inch thick blades; requires an on-site or shop blade welder to cut and join to finished length.
Blade cutting and welding should be performed by a technician familiar with band saw blade welders and blade tensioning procedures. Power down and lock out the band saw before removing the old blade or installing a new one. After welding and grinding the joint, inspect the weld for flatness before tensioning to the machine manufacturer specification. Follow the band saw manufacturer guidelines for blade tracking and guide adjustment before resuming cuts.
