The LEGRIS 3189 12 17 is a push-to-connect oscillating male elbow tube fitting designed for pneumatic and fluid-transfer plumbing lines. It accepts 12mm outside-diameter tubing on the push-in side and terminates in a 3/8-inch BSPP male thread on the fixed end. The oscillating elbow configuration allows the threaded end to pivot during installation, reducing stress on the connection point and simplifying routing in tight assemblies. The body is molded from nylon with a nitrile O-ring seal, making it suitable for compressed air and a range of compatible fluids. Rated to 290 psi, it is a dependable choice for industrial and mechanical service lines where quick, tool-free tube connections are required.
This fitting is suited for use in pneumatic control systems, automation equipment, fluid power circuits, and compressed-air distribution plumbing in commercial and industrial facilities. The oscillating male elbow is typically installed where tubing must change direction at a threaded port and where panel or manifold clearance limits the use of a fixed elbow. Its push-to-connect design allows a technician to seat 12mm OD tubing with a single insertion, and release it by depressing the collet ring. It is commonly installed by industrial maintenance technicians, pipefitters, and fluid-power service professionals.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect fitting for pneumatic and fluid-transfer systems using 12mm outside-diameter tubing with 3/8-inch BSPP male threaded ports.
This fitting is installed by industrial pipefitters, fluid-power technicians, or maintenance professionals. Before installation, de-pressurize and lockout the system per applicable site procedures. Ensure the receiving port is clean and undamaged before threading the BSPP male end by hand; avoid over-torquing the nylon body. Seat the tubing fully into the push-connect collet until it stops, and confirm retention by applying a light pull-back force before re-pressurizing the line.
