The LEGRIS 3146 14 00 is a push-to-connect tube fitting designed for multi-port inline connections combining a metric thread port with multiple tube ports in a single body. Constructed from nickel-plated brass, it handles working pressures up to 290 psi and carries a vacuum rating of 29 in-Hg. The fitting uses a Nitrile o-ring for sealing, making it compatible with a broad range of pneumatic media. It is installed by licensed pipefitters, pneumatic system technicians, and automation engineers working on compressed air, vacuum, and fluid transfer assemblies where a compact, tool-free tube connection to a metric-threaded component is required.
This fitting is suited for light industrial and precision applications including pneumatic controls, robotic end-of-arm tooling, textile machinery, and packaging systems. The push-to-connect design allows fast, repeatable tube insertion without additional ferrules or wrenches at the tube ports. The 14 mm outside diameter tube interface accommodates standard metric tubing commonly found in European-spec and OEM automation equipment. Its compact envelope makes it practical in tight panel or manifold installations where space is limited.
Suitable for use in packing, pneumatics, robotics, and textile industrial applications requiring a push-to-connect fitting with a 14 mm OD tube interface and a metric thread port. Verify thread specification and tube outside diameter before installation.
Installation is typically performed by a qualified pipefitter or pneumatic systems technician. Depressurize and isolate the pneumatic circuit completely before removing or installing any fitting. Ensure tubing is cut square, deburred, and free of contamination before inserting into the push-to-connect ports; damaged or out-of-round tubing can compromise the internal collet seal. The metric thread port should be made up with an appropriate thread sealant compatible with the system media and in accordance with the equipment manufacturer's specifications.
