The LEGRIS 3133 10 17 is a push-to-connect 45-degree male elbow tube fitting designed for use in pneumatic and fluid-handling systems. It accepts tubing with a 10mm outside diameter and features a 3/8-inch BSPP male threaded end for connection to ported blocks, manifolds, or threaded fittings. The body is constructed from nylon and nickel-plated brass, providing resistance to corrosion and mechanical wear. A nitrile o-ring seals the threaded connection. The fitting is rated to 290 psi. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, and industrial maintenance mechanics typically install this type of fitting in compressed air, water, and light fluid lines.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial pneumatic plumbing applications where a directional 45-degree change in tube routing is required at a threaded port. The BSPP thread type makes it appropriate for systems using British Standard Parallel Pipe connections. It is commonly installed in control panels, pneumatic valve assemblies, and process equipment where compact tube routing is needed. The push-to-connect design allows tool-free tube insertion and secure retention without ferrules or compression sleeves.
Designed for use with 10mm outside diameter tubing in pneumatic or fluid-handling systems that use BSPP-threaded ports. Verify thread type and tube OD before installation, as BSPP is not interchangeable with NPT or BSPT connections.
Installation is performed by qualified plumbers, pipefitters, or HVAC mechanics familiar with pneumatic tube fittings and BSPP-threaded connections. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any fittings. Hand-tighten the BSPP male thread into the mating port and apply an appropriate thread sealant or o-ring grease as required by system specifications; do not overtighten. Insert the tube straight into the push-to-connect end until it seats fully, and verify retention by pulling back on the tube before re-pressurizing the circuit.
