The LEGRIS 3008 04 14 is a push-to-connect female branch tee tube fitting designed for fast, tool-free pneumatic and fluid line connections in trade and industrial applications. The fitting accepts 5/32 inch OD tubing and features a 1/4 inch NPT female thread port. Construction combines a nylon body with nickel-plated brass internal components, delivering a rated working pressure of 290 psi. The push-to-connect mechanism allows tubing to be inserted and locked without ferrules or compression sleeves, reducing assembly time on crowded manifolds or branch-off lines. HVAC technicians, plumbers, and mechanical contractors use this style of fitting where a tee branch is needed at a threaded port location.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial pneumatic control systems, compressed air distribution lines, and fluid handling circuits where 5/32 inch OD tubing branches off a female-threaded body. Typical install scenarios include pneumatic actuator circuits, instrument air lines, and low-pressure fluid distribution panels. The NPT thread form seals against standard tapered pipe threads common throughout North American plumbing and HVAC control systems. Single-piece packaging makes it easy to source as a replacement or add-on fitting without overage.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for pneumatic and fluid control systems using 5/32 inch OD tubing with 1/4 inch NPT female-threaded ports.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, or mechanical contractors familiar with pneumatic and fluid line work. Shut off and bleed all system pressure before removing or installing any fitting. Ensure tubing is cut cleanly and squarely and is fully inserted to the depth stop before pressurizing the line. NPT threads should be sealed with PTFE tape or pipe thread sealant rated for the service fluid and pressure before assembly.
