The LEGRIS 0106 08 00 is a brass compression tube union designed to join two compression-end tube lines in a single inline fitting. It provides a leak-resistant, tool-assisted connection without soldering or threading, making it a practical choice for pneumatic and fluid distribution systems. The fitting accommodates 8mm outside diameter tubing and is rated to 320 psi maximum working pressure across a wide service temperature range of -40 degrees F to 210 degrees F. Licensed trades and industrial maintenance technicians install this type of fitting in compressed air lines, hydraulic instrument tubing, and similar fluid-handling circuits where repeatable, removable connections are required.
This union is suited for both light industrial and commercial fluid or pneumatic tubing runs where a straight inline splice or extension is needed. The compression-by-compression end configuration means both tube ends are secured mechanically with ferrules, no flare or solder required. It is typically installed in panel-mounted pneumatic controls, process instrumentation lines, and facility compressed air distribution. The brass construction offers corrosion resistance compatible with a broad range of process media. Compliance with ATEX, CNOMO E07.21.115N, PED, Prop 65, REACH, and RoHS standards makes it acceptable for regulated industrial and European-market installations.
Designed as a straight union fitting for 8mm outside diameter compression tubing in pneumatic and fluid distribution systems. Confirm ferrule and tube material compatibility with system media before installation.
Installation is performed by qualified industrial mechanics or licensed trades working on pneumatic or fluid distribution systems. Depressurize and isolate the line completely before disassembling any existing fittings or inserting this union. Ensure tube ends are cut square and deburred before seating into the compression body. Consult applicable system pressure and media compatibility requirements before placing the fitting in service.
