The LEGRIS 0102 14 00 is a brass compression tube union designed for straight inline connections in pneumatic and fluid distribution systems. It accepts 14mm outside diameter tubing on both ends using a compression-style fitting that requires no special tooling for assembly. This union is rated for a maximum working pressure of 246 psi and handles operating temperatures from -40 degrees F to 212 degrees F (100 degrees C). The all-brass construction resists corrosion in demanding industrial environments. It is typically installed by instrumentation technicians, industrial pipefitters, and pneumatic system specialists in both fixed and mobile equipment applications.
This fitting is suited for use in industrial pneumatic lines, process fluid distribution, and machine plumbing where a reliable inline tube-to-tube connection is needed. The compression-by-compression end configuration makes it appropriate for retrofit and new-installation work on 14mm OD tubing runs. The ATEX certification makes it a viable option for use in classified hazardous-area environments. Compliance with PED, REACH, RoHS, and Prop 65 standards supports use in regulated markets and applications where material content documentation is required.
Designed for use with 14mm outside diameter tubing in compression-style pneumatic and fluid distribution systems. Verify tubing material and wall thickness are appropriate for the intended pressure and temperature service conditions before installation.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pipefitter or instrumentation technician familiar with compression fittings and the applicable system pressure ratings. Depressurize and drain the line completely before removing or installing any fitting. Follow the fitting manufacturer's insertion and tightening procedure for compression connections to ensure a leak-free seal. In hazardous-area installations, verify that all components and the installation method comply with the applicable ATEX zone classification and local electrical and mechanical codes.
