The LEGRIS 0102 08 00 is a brass compression tube union designed to join two compression-end tube lines in a single inline fitting. It creates a leak-resistant, full-bore connection without the need for soldering, flaring, or specialized tooling. Built for demanding environments, this fitting carries ATEX and PED certifications, making it suitable for use in potentially explosive atmospheres and pressure equipment applications. It handles a maximum working pressure of 320 psi and a temperature range of -40 degrees F to 210 degrees F. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and instrumentation technicians install this type of union in pneumatic, hydraulic, and fluid-handling systems where a straight inline tube connection is required.
This compression union is intended for use with 8mm outside diameter tubing in both residential and commercial installations. Typical applications include pneumatic control lines, fluid instrumentation circuits, and industrial process tubing runs where a serviceable, re-usable union connection is preferred. The brass construction makes it well suited for compressed air, water, and compatible fluid media. Its compliance with CNOMO standard E07.21.115N, REACH, and RoHS reflects suitability for automotive and industrial OEM assembly environments as well.
Designed for use with 8mm outside diameter tubing in compression-style pneumatic and fluid-handling systems meeting ATEX, PED, CNOMO E07.21.115N, REACH, and RoHS requirements.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pipefitter, plumber, or instrumentation technician familiar with compression fitting assembly procedures. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before disconnecting or installing any fitting. Ensure tubing is cut square, deburred, and inserted fully to the tube stop before tightening the compression nut. Verify that the selected tubing material and wall thickness are compatible with the rated working pressure and the conveyed fluid.
