The LEGRIS 0101 12 17 is a brass compression tube connector designed to join tubing to threaded male BSPP ports in fluid and pneumatic plumbing systems. It features a compression end on one side and a 3/8-inch male BSPP threaded end on the other, creating a secure, leak-resistant connection without soldering or special tooling. Rated to 320 psi maximum working pressure, it handles temperatures from -40 degrees F to 210 degrees F, making it suitable for a broad range of industrial and mechanical service applications. Plumbers, pipefitters, and maintenance technicians working with BSPP-ported equipment install this fitting as part of tube-to-port assemblies.
This connector is used where 12 mm outside diameter tubing must terminate at a BSPP-threaded male port, a configuration common in European-specification pneumatic and hydraulic panels, fluid control systems, and equipment manifolds. It is appropriate for both light industrial and commercial plumbing contexts where BSPP thread standards are specified. The compression fitting style allows field assembly with standard hand tools and does not require flaring, soldering, or adhesives, which speeds installation during maintenance and retrofit work.
Designed for use with 12 mm outside diameter tubing and equipment fitted with 3/8-inch male BSPP (British Standard Parallel Pipe) threaded ports, consistent with European and metric fluid system specifications.
Installation is typically performed by licensed plumbers or pipefitters familiar with compression fitting assembly and BSPP thread standards. Shut off and depressurize the system completely before disassembly or fitting installation. Apply thread sealant compatible with the system media to the BSPP male threads per the fitting manufacturer and applicable IPC guidelines. Do not overtighten the compression nut — follow standard compression fitting assembly practice to avoid deforming the ferrule or tubing.
