The LEGRAND WP3479-BR is a Type F coaxial keystone connector designed for use with standard keystone wall plates. It provides a 75-ohm impedance connection point for coaxial cable terminations in residential and light commercial low-voltage installations. The connector features a recessed hex nut design that prevents jack rotation once installed, maintaining a secure and stable connection. Constructed from high-impact flame-retardant plastic, it carries UL and CAN/CSA C22.2 approvals. The brown color finish is suited for matching brown keystone wall plates. This insert is installed by low-voltage technicians, AV integrators, and electricians during structured wiring rough-in or finish work.
This connector is intended for wall plate installations where a coaxial cable distribution point is required, such as cable TV, satellite, or antenna feed terminations in living rooms, bedrooms, and home theater applications. It seats into any standard keystone wall plate opening, making it compatible with multi-port and single-port keystone plate configurations. The non-recessed nickel F-connector interface accepts standard coaxial F-type connections on the faceplate side. Its compact dimensions of 0.87 inches L by 0.67 inches W by 1.2 inches D allow it to fit into tight wall plate assemblies without modification.

Installation is typically performed by a licensed low-voltage technician or electrician. De-energize and disconnect any active coaxial signal source before terminating or handling the connector. The keystone insert snaps into a standard keystone wall plate cutout and is secured by the recessed hex nut — no rotation should occur once properly seated. Follow applicable local codes and TIA-570 residential telecommunications cabling standards where required.
