The LEGRAND PJSE26-I is a semi-jumbo sectional wall plate designed for GFCI and surge-type receptacle configurations. This end section is molded from thermoset nylon, a self-extinguishing material built to handle the demands of commercial, industrial, and residential wiring environments. The plate ships ready for screw-mount installation and features a smooth ivory finish. Electricians use sectional wall plates when a standard single-gang or multi-gang plate does not match the mix of devices in a given box, allowing a custom plate assembly to be built on the job from individual sections rather than stocked as a pre-configured unit.
This end section pairs with compatible center sections to create custom multi-device wall plate assemblies covering the five most common device configurations. It is suited for commercial panel rooms, industrial control stations, and residential applications where a decorator-style GFCI or surge outlet is installed alongside other device types. Blank sections are furnished with a mounting strap, giving the installer flexibility when one gang in the assembly is unused. The semi-jumbo sizing accommodates standard semi-jumbo device openings and box configurations.
Designed for use as an end section in semi-jumbo sectional wall plate assemblies; compatible with Pass and Seymour sectional wall plate center and end sections supporting decorator-style GFCI and surge device configurations in commercial, industrial, and residential applications.
Installation is performed by a licensed electrician following NEC guidelines for device cover plates. Power down the circuit at the breaker before removing or installing any wall plate. Sections should be snapped together before mounting to the box face, then secured with the provided screws. Do not overtighten mounting screws on thermoset plates, as cracking can occur.
