The LEGRAND au7001 is a Digital Audio Input Module designed for use with a compatible Digital Audio System. It provides whole-home access to streaming music services and internet radio by connecting the audio system to networked and internet-based content sources. Up to four au7001 modules can be installed in a single Digital Audio System, expanding available input sources. Licensed electricians or low-voltage AV technicians typically handle integration of this module into structured wiring and whole-home audio installations.

The au7001 is suited for residential whole-home audio environments where multiple listening zones require centralized music distribution. Content made available through the module is accessible from any individual zone or broadcast to all zones simultaneously.
