The LEGEND VALVE 355-120e is a close-pattern Schedule 40 black steel nipple sized at 1-1/4 inches. A close nipple is threaded end-to-end with no exposed center pipe, making it the shortest possible threaded connector in this size. It is used to join two female-threaded fittings with virtually no gap between them. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this fitting in gas distribution, steam, and water piping systems where compact connections are required and space between fittings is at a minimum.
