The LEGEND VALVE 313-209 is a T-4300 series transition fitting designed to connect 3/4-inch CTS (Copper Tube Size) tubing to a 1-inch MIP (Male Iron Pipe) threaded connection. This type of fitting is used to join dissimilar pipe sizes or material types at a transition point in a plumbing or hydronic system. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install these fittings during rough-in or retrofit work where tubing and threaded iron pipe must be joined. Important: this fitting is not approved for potable water use in installations completed after 2013 and must be limited to non-potable applications only.
