The LEGEND VALVE 303-125 is a brass compression pipe coupling designed to join copper tube runs without soldering or threading. It accepts 1 inch copper tube and fits 3/4 inch pipe, making it a practical choice for repairs and new installations where a flame-free connection method is preferred. Rated at 125 psi WOG (water, oil, gas), it handles typical domestic and light commercial service pressures. The brass body withstands working temperatures up to 180 degrees F. Licensed plumbers and experienced pipefitters install this fitting in water supply, heating, and light commercial fluid systems.
This compression coupling is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing applications where a reliable, tool-only joint is required. Common install scenarios include in-wall or under-slab repairs where soldering is impractical, as well as above-grade water supply piping. It is appropriate for water supply lines, hydronic heating distribution, and similar low-to-medium pressure fluid service within its rated temperature and pressure limits.
Designed as an OEM-style compression fitting for 1 inch copper tube in standard residential and light commercial plumbing systems operating within 125 psi WOG and 180 degrees F temperature limits.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and IPC guidelines. Shut off and depressurize the water supply line before disassembling any existing piping or fitting the coupling. Ensure tube ends are cut square and deburred before seating the compression ring to achieve a leak-free joint. Do not overtighten the compression nut, as excess force can deform the ferrule and compromise the seal.
