The LEGEND VALVE 301-503 is a T-575 dielectric nipple designed to prevent galvanic corrosion at the transition point between dissimilar metals in plumbing systems. Measuring 3/4 inch in diameter and 3 inches in length, this fitting is rated for service up to 425 PSI at a maximum temperature of 225 degrees F. Plumbers install dielectric nipples at water heater connections, boiler supply and return lines, and anywhere copper pipe meets steel or galvanized fittings.
