The LEGEND VALVE 114-609nlb is a quarter-turn angle stop valve with a 1/2 inch PEX inlet and 3/8 inch OD compression outlet, finished in chrome. Rated at 125 CWP (cold working pressure), this valve is designed for under-sink supply line shutoff in residential and light commercial plumbing systems. The no-lead construction meets current safe drinking water standards. Plumbers and water service technicians install this type of valve as the final shutoff point between the supply stub-out and a fixture supply line, such as those serving lavatories, toilets, and small appliances.
This angle stop is suited for installations where PEX tubing runs from the wall or floor to a fixture supply line terminating in a 3/8 inch OD compression fitting. Common applications include bathroom vanities, toilet rough-ins, and kitchen sink connections. The chrome finish integrates cleanly into finished spaces where the valve is visible. This unit is supplied in bulk single-unit packaging, making it appropriate for jobsite stock or service truck inventory where individual retail packaging is unnecessary.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation angle stop for residential and light commercial plumbing systems using 1/2 inch PEX supply tubing and 3/8 inch OD compression fixture connections.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber or qualified water service technician. Shut off the main water supply and relieve pressure from the line before removing any existing stop valve. Follow local plumbing code requirements, including those derived from the IPC, for permitted fitting types and pressure ratings in potable water systems. Do not overtighten the compression nut on the 3/8 inch OD outlet, as over-compression can crack fittings or damage supply line ferrules.
