The LEGEND VALVE 113-148 is a 2-inch full port manual ball valve built for demanding plumbing and mechanical systems. Constructed from 316 stainless steel throughout the body, trim, and handle, it delivers corrosion resistance suited to aggressive media and harsh service environments. The full port design minimizes flow restriction, making it a reliable shutoff choice where pressure drop matters. A locking lever handle prevents accidental actuation, an important feature in systems that require positive isolation. Reinforced PTFE seats provide a durable, low-friction seal. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters are the primary installers of this valve.
This valve is well suited for commercial and industrial plumbing systems, process piping, and mechanical rooms where stainless steel construction is specified. The FNPT x FNPT end connections allow direct threaded installation into standard female NPT piping without adapters. The 2-inch pipe size makes it appropriate for main supply lines, recirculation loops, and branch isolation in mid- to large-scale plumbing installations. Its 316 stainless steel construction also makes it a common choice in corrosive or sanitary-adjacent applications where carbon steel or brass is not acceptable.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation valve for 2-inch female NPT threaded piping systems requiring a full port stainless steel ball valve.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with applicable local codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off system pressure and drain the line before removing or installing any valve. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to male NPT threads before making up connections, and do not overtighten to avoid damaging threads or the valve body. Confirm the locking lever is in the closed and locked position before returning the system to service.
