The LEGEND VALVE 113-126 is a 1-piece standard manual ball valve designed for fluid isolation and flow control in plumbing, HVAC hydronic, and industrial piping systems. Built from 316 stainless steel throughout the body, trim, and handle, it accepts 1-1/4 inch FNPT connections on both ends and features a standard port bore with a reinforced PTFE seat for reliable shutoff. The locking lever handle prevents accidental actuation in vibration-prone or high-traffic mechanical environments. This valve is installed by licensed plumbers and pipefitters where corrosion resistance and secure lockout capability are required.
The 113-126 is suited for residential and light commercial mechanical rooms, hydronic heating and cooling systems, and process piping applications where stainless steel construction is specified for corrosive media or potable water service. The FNPT x FNPT end connections thread directly into standard female-threaded fittings, making it a straightforward replacement or new-installation valve in 1-1/4 inch iron pipe size systems. The standard port configuration provides adequate flow for most shutoff and isolation duties without the added pressure drop of a reduced port design.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation valve for 1-1/4 inch FNPT threaded piping systems requiring a 1-piece 316 stainless steel standard port ball valve.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with applicable IPC and local plumbing codes. Shut off and depressurize the system and drain the affected line before removing an existing valve or installing a new one. Apply appropriate thread sealant or PTFE tape to the male threads being joined, and tighten to snug plus a controlled number of turns without over-torquing the stainless steel threads. Verify for leaks under system pressure before returning the line to service.
