The LEGEND VALVE 113-106 is a standard manual ball valve designed for reliable on/off flow control in plumbing and mechanical piping systems. Built from 316 stainless steel throughout the body and trim, it handles demanding environments where corrosion resistance is critical. The valve features a large port design that minimizes pressure drop across the valve, and seats made from reinforced polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) for chemical compatibility and long service life. A locking lever handle provides secure shutoff and prevents accidental operation in service or industrial settings. This is a two-piece valve body configuration with female NPT connections on both ends.
The 113-106 is suited for residential and commercial plumbing, hydronic heating, industrial process piping, and similar applications requiring a 1-1/4 inch FNPT x FNPT inline shutoff. The large port bore reduces flow restriction compared to standard port valves, making it a common choice for higher-flow piping runs. The locking lever adds tamper resistance for mechanical rooms or installations where unintended valve operation is a concern. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters are the typical installers for this type of valve in both new construction and retrofit work.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation manual ball valve for 1-1/4 inch threaded piping systems using female NPT connections.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the line before installation. Apply appropriate thread sealant or tape to male NPT fittings before making up the connection. Verify that the valve flow direction and handle orientation are correct before returning the system to service.
