The LEGEND VALVE 110-337 is a 1/8-inch manual air vent designed to release trapped air from hydronic heating and cooling systems. Trapped air in a closed-loop system causes noise, reduced flow, and heat-transfer loss. This vent gives technicians a reliable, manual means of bleeding air from high points in the system, radiators, baseboard convectors, and similar terminal units. The compact 1/8-inch connection size fits standard service ports and bleed valves found across residential and light-commercial hydronic installations.
The 110-337 is suited for use in hot water heating systems, chilled water loops, and radiant floor circuits where air accumulation is a recurring service issue. It installs at high points in the piping system, at radiator or convector bleed ports, or wherever a manual purge point is needed. Hydronic service technicians and licensed plumbers will encounter this fitting in new-construction and retrofit applications alike.
Designed as an OEM-style manual air vent for 1/8-inch bleed ports on hydronic heating and cooling terminal units and piping systems.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber or hydronic heating technician. Before servicing, shut down the circulator pump and reduce system pressure to a safe working level. Use an appropriate thread sealant rated for hydronic service on the 1/8-inch male threads. Follow applicable plumbing codes, including IPC guidelines, for closed-loop hydronic system service and repair.
