The LEGEND VALVE 107-414 is a chrome plated brass sillcock with an integrated vacuum breaker, designed for outdoor hose bib applications in residential and light commercial plumbing systems. The body is constructed from brass with a zinc handwheel handle, providing corrosion resistance suited to exterior service conditions. End connections are FNPT inlet by GHT outlet, allowing direct connection to a threaded supply line and a standard garden hose. Rated at 125 psi WOG, this sillcock is appropriate for typical municipal supply pressures. A licensed plumber installs this fitting during rough-in or retrofit work on exterior walls.
This sillcock is used on exterior walls where a garden hose connection is needed. The built-in vacuum breaker provides backflow protection by preventing siphoning of potentially contaminated water back into the potable supply line, a requirement in many jurisdictions under plumbing codes. It is appropriate for residential single-family homes, multi-family buildings, and light commercial properties where an outdoor water outlet is required. The FNPT inlet threads into a standard 3/4 inch supply stub-out, and the GHT outlet accepts a standard garden hose.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation sillcock for residential and light commercial plumbing systems requiring a 3/4 inch FNPT inlet and GHT hose outlet with integrated vacuum breaker backflow protection.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with the applicable International Plumbing Code (IPC) or local code requirements for hose bib and backflow prevention devices. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the line before beginning any work. Apply thread sealant tape or compound to the FNPT threads before making the connection, and do not overtighten the fitting in the supply stub-out. Verify local code requirements for vacuum breaker height above grade before final installation.
