This sillcock is intended for 3/4 inch pipe installations in exterior walls, providing a hose connection point for garden hoses, pressure washers, and other GHT-threaded equipment. The loose key handle design means the valve key must be inserted to operate the valve, making it well suited for applications where water access needs to be controlled. Typical installations include residential homes, apartment buildings, light commercial facilities, and irrigation supply points. Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with the International Plumbing Code (IPC) and applicable local codes. Shut off the main water supply and relieve line pressure before removing or installing any sillcock. Apply thread sealant or PTFE tape to the FNPT male threads before making the threaded connection. Do not overtighten the fitting into the supply nipple, as brass threads can be damaged by excessive torque.
