The LEGEND VALVE 107-185NL is a lead free brass sillcock designed for outdoor water supply connections on residential and light commercial buildings. The body is constructed from lead free brass, meeting current potable water requirements, with a cast iron handwheel handle for reliable manual operation. End connections are C Sweat (copper sweat) inlet by Male Garden Hose Thread (MGHT) outlet, making this a direct-fit choice for standard hose bib installations. The valve is rated to 125 psi WOG and complies with ANSI/ASME B1.20.1, ANSI/ASME B1.20.7, ASME B16.18, ASTM F1807, and CSA standards. A licensed plumber installs this valve as part of the cold water distribution rough-in or during a hose bib replacement service.
This sillcock is suited for residential and light commercial exterior wall installations where a copper sweat supply line feeds an outdoor hose connection. Typical applications include new construction rough-in and hose bib replacement on exterior walls. The C Sweat inlet connects directly to copper supply lines, and the MGHT outlet accepts standard garden hose fittings. The compact body dimensions of 2.38 inches wide by 2.38 inches deep by 4.06 inches tall allow installation in standard wall thicknesses with appropriate sillcock extensions where needed.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation sillcock for residential and light commercial exterior cold water supply lines using 3/4 inch copper sweat connections feeding a standard Male Garden Hose Thread outlet.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off the main water supply and relieve system pressure before cutting into any supply line. The C Sweat inlet requires standard copper soldering tools and flux-core solder rated for potable water use. Ensure the valve body is supported against the wall structure to prevent stress on the solder joint during hose connection and disconnection.
