The LEGEND VALVE 105-525 is a cast iron Y-strainer designed for in-line filtration of liquids in commercial and industrial piping systems. It accepts 1-inch female NPT connections on both ends and carries a 500 psi WOG (Water, Oil, Gas) pressure rating along with a 250 psi WSP (Working Steam Pressure) rating. The strainer body uses a 20-mesh screen to capture particulate and debris, protecting downstream valves, meters, and equipment from sediment damage. Plumbers and pipefitters install this type of strainer during new construction and retrofit work wherever line protection is required.

This Y-strainer is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing, hydronic heating, and industrial piping where 1-inch threaded connections are standard.
