The LEGEND VALVE 105-523 is a cast iron Y-strainer designed to remove debris and particulate from piping systems before it reaches downstream equipment such as valves, meters, pumps, and traps. The body is rated at 500 psi WOG (water, oil, gas) and 250 psi WSP (working steam pressure), making it suitable for a wide range of fluid handling applications. Connections are female NPT (FNPT) on both ends, conforming to ANSI/ASME B1.20.1 thread standards. The 20-mesh screen filters out coarse debris without creating significant flow restriction. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters are the primary installers of this fitting class.
