It has a bronze body (UNS C84400) with a 20 mesh 304 stainless steel (UNS S30400) screen, compression (solder) C x C connections, and a 1/2 in NPT blow-off plug. Rated 300 PSI (WOG) and 150 PSI (WSP), it meets ASTM and ANSI/ASME B16.18 material standards and is used to protect downstream valves, meters, and control devices by trapping debris.
