The LEGEND VALVE 105-303 is a bronze Y-pattern check valve designed for 1/2 inch pipe connections with female NPT (FNPT) inlets and outlets on both ends. Check valves allow flow in one direction and close automatically to prevent backflow, protecting pumps, water heaters, and distribution lines from reverse pressure. The Y-pattern body geometry reduces flow restriction compared to traditional swing-check designs, making this valve well suited for systems where pressure drop is a concern. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this type of fitting in residential and light commercial plumbing systems. The bronze body provides corrosion resistance in potable water and hydronic applications.
