The LEGEND VALVE 101-124 is a 3/4-inch full port push-fit ball valve designed for permanent, tool-free connections in residential and light commercial plumbing. Built on a forged brass body, it uses the T-1200 Insta-Loc push-to-connect system as a non-removable alternative to soldering, solvent welding, and crimping. The valve is rated at 230 PSI at 230 degrees F and features a bottom-loaded, blowout-proof stem with a dual O-ring stem seal that requires no routine maintenance. Improved 3M Dyneon TFM PTFE seats deliver a reliable shutoff. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this valve on both potable water distribution and hydronic heating systems.
This valve suits new construction and repair work on potable water plumbing distribution systems and hydronic heating installations. The push-to-connect ends accept copper, PEX, and CPVC tubing. When used with PEX tubing, insert stiffeners are required. PEX tubing with an oxygen barrier on the outer layer and composite PEX-AL-PEX tubing are not suitable for use with the T-1200 Insta-Loc connections. End connections comply with ASSE Standard 1061, confirming third-party verification of push-fit performance.
Designed for use on potable water plumbing distribution and hydronic heating systems. Accepts copper, PEX, and CPVC tubing at 3/4-inch diameter. Not compatible with oxygen-barrier PEX or PEX-AL-PEX composite tubing at the T-1200 push-fit connections.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off the water supply and relieve system pressure before beginning work. Tubing ends must be cut cleanly and squarely, and deburring is recommended before insertion into the push-fit connection. Insert stiffeners are required when connecting PEX tubing; do not use oxygen-barrier PEX or PEX-AL-PEX tubing with this valve.
