The LEGEND VALVE 101-123 is a full port, push-fit ball valve designed for permanent, tool-free connections in residential and light commercial plumbing systems. Built with a forged brass body, this 1/2 inch valve uses the T-1200 Insta-Loc push-to-connect system, which eliminates the need for soldering, solvent welding, or crimping. It is rated at 230 PSI at 230 degrees F, making it well suited for both potable water distribution and hydronic heating applications. The bottom-loaded, blowout-proof stem and maintenance-free dual O-ring stem seal reduce long-term service requirements. Licensed plumbers and HVAC technicians install this valve in new construction and repair work alike.
The 101-123 is intended for potable water plumbing distribution lines and hydronic heating systems in residential and light commercial settings. Push-to-connect ends accept copper, PEX, and CPVC tubing, giving installers flexibility across common pipe types. Note that PEX tubing installations require the use of insert stiffeners. PEX tubing with an oxygen barrier on the outer layer and composite PEX-AL-PEX tubing are NOT suitable for use with T-1200 connections. End connections comply with ASSE Standard 1061.
Compatible with copper, PEX, and CPVC tubing in 1/2 inch size. PEX insert stiffeners are required for PEX installations. PEX tubing with an oxygen barrier or composite PEX-AL-PEX tubing is not compatible with T-1200 connections. End connections comply with ASSE Standard 1061.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and IPC guidelines. Shut off the water supply and relieve system pressure before installing or replacing any valve. Push-fit connections are permanent and non-removable — verify pipe size, type, and cleanliness before seating the fitting. PEX installations require insert stiffeners to be placed inside the tubing end before insertion into the valve.
