The LANCASTER PUMP 7-FESLX-32B is a two-tank IronSoft water softener system rated at 32000 grains of capacity and designed for residential water treatment applications. It handles both clear water and red water iron conditions, removing up to 10 PPM of total iron while simultaneously softening hard water. The system is controlled by an electronic control valve that supports both demand-initiated and time clock-initiated regeneration, giving the installing contractor precise control over system programming and service scheduling. A dot matrix display with scrolling text, backlight illumination, and contractor contact screens simplifies setup, monitoring, and future service calls. Licensed water treatment dealers and plumbing contractors are the primary installers.
The 7-FESLX-32B is rated for residential installations where both iron removal and water softening are required. It operates at a service flow rate of 17 GPM, making it suitable for households with moderate to high daily water demand. The system monitors water consumption, flow rates, gallons since last regeneration, days between regeneration cycles, and total regeneration count since startup. A water drop flow indicator and low-battery screen alert provide ongoing system status at a glance. The electronic control valve with two relay driver outputs supports integration with auxiliary equipment as needed.
Designed as an OEM-style residential two-tank water softener and iron removal system. Part of the Lancaster LX Diamond Line IronSoft series, available in capacities from 24000 to 64000 grains to match household water treatment requirements.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or authorized water treatment dealer familiar with local plumbing codes. Shut off the main water supply and relieve system pressure before making any connections. The 1-inch pipe connection size should be matched to existing supply lines, and bypass valves are recommended to allow servicing without interrupting water supply. Verify that operating pressure stays within the 20 to 100 psi range and that water temperature at the installation point is between 35 and 100 degrees F.
