The L H Dottie Co OSS75 is a 3/4-inch universal offset strut connector used to join and offset strut channel sections in electrical and mechanical support systems. This hardware fitting allows installers to transition between strut runs that are not perfectly aligned, maintaining structural continuity across the support framework. It is sold individually and is a standard component in conduit support, cable tray, and mechanical pipe support assemblies found in commercial and industrial construction.
The OSS75 is suited for use in electrical rough-in and mechanical support applications where strut channel must be connected at an offset. Electricians and mechanical contractors use this fitting when routing conduit, cable tray, or pipe support systems around obstructions or when aligning strut runs across uneven surfaces. It is a common hardware accessory in both new construction and retrofit projects.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard hardware fitting for use with 3/4-inch strut channel support systems in electrical and mechanical installations.
Installation is typically performed by licensed electricians or mechanical contractors following NEC and applicable local codes. De-energize any circuits in the work area before installing or adjusting strut support hardware. Standard hand tools including wrenches and screwdrivers are sufficient for most strut fitting installations. Ensure all strut connections are fully tightened and the support assembly is rated for the intended load before placing conduit, cable tray, or pipe into service.
