The L H DOTTIE CO 2203P is a heavy duty pull line designed for use in electrical installation work. Pull lines, also called fish lines or pull strings, are used to guide wire, cable, or conduit through walls, ceilings, conduit runs, and other enclosed pathways. The 2203P is sold as a single unit and is suited for commercial and residential electrical work where a reliable, strong pull line is needed to complete wire pulls efficiently and safely.
The 2203P is used by licensed electricians and electrical contractors in both new construction and retrofit applications. It is appropriate for pulling wire through conduit, behind drywall, above drop ceilings, and through other confined pathways. Its heavy duty construction makes it suitable for demanding pull scenarios where a standard-weight line may fail or break under tension.
Designed as a general-purpose heavy duty pull line for use in standard electrical installation and wire-pulling applications.
Pull lines are typically installed by licensed electricians following applicable NEC guidelines. Before beginning any wire pull, confirm that power is de-energized in the affected circuit or panel area. Use appropriate pulling grips and lubricants when pulling through conduit to prevent line or wire damage. Do not exceed the rated tensile load of the pull line during use.
