The KYOCERA TMH00069 is a solid carbide turning insert with a WNMG432 ANSI designation and ISO code WNMG080402, engineered for steel cutting applications requiring a balance of wear resistance and toughness. It carries a CVD-applied multilayer coating of TiCN, Al2O3, and TiN - grade CA025P - which places it in material grades P10 through P40. The insert has an 80-degree trigon shape, a neutral hand orientation, a 0.5 inch inscribed circle, and a corner radius of 0.0313 inches. With six cutting edges and a chamfered, honed cutting edge style, it delivers consistent performance across roughing and medium machining operations.

This insert is suited for external turning, boring, facing, internal facing, and chamfering on steel workpieces in both production and job-shop environments. The PG chip breaker geometry supports chip control through a range of depths of cut up to a maximum of 0.059 inches. It is mounted using either a clamp or pin holding method, making it compatible with standard WNMG-style toolholders used by machinists and CNC operators in metal-cutting applications.
