The KYOCERA TLC06276 is a replaceable drill tip designed for use with DRA-series indexable drill bodies. It features a 0.5315-inch (13.50 mm) cutting diameter and a 140-degree point angle. The tip is manufactured from solid carbide and carries the PR1535 grade designation, applied with a PVD-deposited MEGACOAT NANO coating. This combination delivers wear resistance and thermal stability when drilling steel and stainless steel. The M-GM insert geometry supports chip control in a range of drilling conditions. Installation and replacement are handled by licensed machinists and tool-and-die professionals in production and job-shop environments.

This drill tip is suited for drilling operations in steel, stainless steel, and cast iron workpieces. It fits insert seat size 135 on compatible DRA-series drill bodies. The helical flute design and regular spiral configuration support consistent chip evacuation in through-hole and blind-hole applications. Coolant-through capability is not supported by this tip. Typical applications include general-purpose production drilling where indexable tooling is preferred over solid-shank drills for economy and repeatability.
