The KYOCERA THN07726 is an indexable high-feed end mill designed for aggressive material removal at shallow depths of cut. With a 1-inch cutting diameter and 5-flute configuration using LOGU 030310ER-GM inserts, this tool is built for high-feed milling strategies that maximize productivity on CNC machining centers. The Weldon shank provides secure, non-pullout clamping in compatible toolholders. Maximum depth of cut is 0.039 inches per pass, and the tool supports a maximum spindle speed of 13,400 RPM. Overall length is 4.82 inches. Through-coolant capability keeps cutting edges cool and flushes chips during deep-pocket and high-feed operations.
This end mill is suited for facing, shouldering, slotting, plunging, and ramping operations across a range of workpiece materials. Installation and toolholder assembly should be performed by a qualified machinist or tooling technician. Ensure the machine spindle and toolholder are clean and free of chips or burrs before seating the Weldon shank. Tighten the Weldon flat set screw to the toolholder manufacturer's specified torque using the correct hex key. Verify insert seating and screw torque before initiating any cutting cycle, and confirm programmed feed rates and RPM are within the tool's rated limits.
