Built to CNGA style geometry with an 80-degree diamond insert shape, this insert features a MEGACOAT PVD coating applied over a KBN35M grade CBN substrate. It carries a neutral hand orientation and a chamfered and honed cutting edge style. With a 0.5-inch inscribed circle and a 0.0469-inch corner radius, the TBA01462 is suited for precision finishing and semi-finishing operations where dimensional accuracy and tool life matter. The insert has two cutting edges and is multi-tipped for extended use per unit.
