Product Description

The KWIKSET 400T 5 SMT 6AL RCS V1 is an entry lockset designed for residential exterior door applications requiring key access from outside and turn-button control from inside. The Tylo knob style comes in an antique brass finish and includes SmartKey technology, which allows field rekeying without removing the lockset from the door. The adjustable deadlatch is 7/8 inches in diameter, fits both 2-3/8 inch and 2-3/4 inch backsets, and is pre-configured for 6-way adjustment to cover common door prep variations. A collar is included to convert the deadlatch to a 1 inch diameter drive-in style where needed.

This lockset is suited for single-family residential entry doors and light-duty commercial applications where a knob-style entry function is acceptable. Both round corner and square corner faceplates are included, along with a round corner strike, making this a fit-and-finish solution for new construction and replacement installs alike. The EZ Install design reduces setup time during production building or service calls.
