The lockset incorporates SmartKey re-keying technology, allowing a licensed locksmith or qualified installer to rekey the cylinder in seconds without removing the lock from the door. The adjustable dead latch is a 6-way, 7/8-inch diameter design that accommodates both 2-3/8-inch and 2-3/4-inch backsets, covering the two most common residential door preparations. A conversion collar is included to adapt the latch to a 1-inch diameter drive-in dead latch configuration.
