The KURIYAMA OF AMERICA INC k010-0204x100 is a clear PVC vinyl tubing with a 1/4-inch outer diameter and 1/8-inch inner diameter, supplied in a 100-foot length. Part of the Kuri Tec Klearon 73 Series, this tubing is manufactured from a non-toxic, food and beverage grade PVC compound with a high-gloss crystal-clear finish and glass-smooth interior. The smooth bore reduces sediment buildup during fluid transfer. It carries multiple safety and food-contact certifications including NSF/ANSI 51, NSF-61, FDA, 3-A Sanitary Standards, USDA, USP Class VI, RoHS, and UL Flame Class HB. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, refrigeration technicians, laboratory equipment installers, and food service equipment technicians are the primary installers.
This tubing is suited for both residential and commercial applications wherever a lightweight, flexible, clear PVC line is required. Common uses include laboratory fluid lines, deionized water systems, water distillation lines, air conditioning condensate drainage, refrigeration drainage, beverage dispensing units, bottling plants, ice machine drain lines, printing press equipment, high-efficiency furnace condensate drainage, and transfer of weak chemicals and acids. The non-toxic blue tint enhances visual clarity without affecting transparency. The operating temperature range is -4 degrees F to 150 degrees F, and the compound hardness is rated at 73 Shore A.
Designed as a flexible PVC tubing solution for laboratory, food service, HVAC condensate, refrigeration drainage, beverage dispensing, and light chemical transfer applications requiring food-grade and multi-certification compliance.
Installation is typically performed by licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, refrigeration mechanics, or laboratory equipment installers depending on the application. Shut off the associated system and relieve any line pressure before cutting or connecting this tubing. Use appropriately sized barbed fittings or clamps rated for PVC tubing at the specified operating pressures. Do not exceed the rated temperature range of 150 degrees F, and avoid contact with concentrated solvents or strong acids not covered under the weak-chemical rating.
