The KST COATING KS0063600-20 is a premium white elastomeric roof coating sold in a 4.75-gallon unit and engineered for long-term waterproofing and energy efficiency on low-slope and flat roofing systems. The high-solids formulation builds a thick, rubber-like protective film that expands and contracts with the roof substrate across all temperature ranges. It reflects solar heat and is rated to reduce energy costs by up to 35%. Licensed roofing contractors and building maintenance professionals apply this coating as a cost-effective alternative to full roof replacement.
This coating is designed for use on a wide range of residential and commercial roof surfaces including metal, concrete, foam, brick, flat cement tile, barrel cement tile, and aged aluminum coatings. It is also recommended for ponded water conditions, rolled roofing, built-up roofs, modified bitumen, and bonded tar, gravel, and most asphaltic surfaces. For optimal adhesion and performance on certain substrates, application over Kool Lastik Primer is recommended.
Recommended for metal, concrete, foam, brick, flat cement tile, barrel cement tile, and aged aluminum coatings. Suitable for ponded water conditions, rolled roofing, built-up roofs, modified bitumen, and bonded tar, gravel, and most asphaltic surfaces. When used with Kool Lastik Primer for applicable substrates.
Application is typically performed by licensed roofing contractors or qualified maintenance personnel. The roof surface must be clean, dry, and free of loose debris, oil, and standing water before coating is applied. Refer to applicable local building codes and manufacturer application guidelines for minimum dry film thickness and recoat intervals. Do not apply if rain is forecast within the application window or if ambient temperatures fall outside the product-specified application range.
