The KRYLON K20879008 is a rust-preventive acrylic alkyd enamel spray paint formulated for direct-to-metal application on metal, aluminum, and steel surfaces. It delivers a gloss finish in Meter Gray without requiring a primer coat, reducing steps for field touch-ups and maintenance work. The oil-based aerosol formula reaches a touch-dry state in approximately 30 minutes and a full handle-dry state in 1 hour, keeping downtime short on active job sites. Each 15-ounce aerosol can covers 30 to 35 square feet. The comfort-tip valve sprays in any orientation, which is useful when coating pipes, conduit, structural steel, and equipment enclosures in confined or overhead positions.

This spray paint is suited for both indoor and outdoor applications on bare or previously coated metal surfaces. Typical use cases include corrosion protection on HVAC equipment panels, electrical conduit, pipe hangers, structural steel, and metal enclosures.
